I would say that love, in the broadest possible sense, is the desire to connect.
Expressed somewhat less succinctly, I would say that love is the desire to share oneself with an other or others, or in the widest possible sense with all of nature or “God” or the cosmos.
God is love. Any time I feel love, which is a radiating pulsation from my chest...the heart chakra and not the heart muscle, I am having a direct experience of God. It doesn't matter if it's love for my dog or love for ice cream, that's a direct experience of God to me.
Has anyone thought to contact Nestor Haddaway?

If it could be defined it wouldn't be love.
